If there’s one person I could meet in this life, and if there’s one person I could be like in this world, it would be Joni Eareckson Tada. Her endurance and faith in such unimaginable suffering has not only profoundly shaped me, it has encouraged me to press on through decades of my own pain and suffering.
For that reason, getting the opportunity to sit down with Joni for this incredible interview was one of the greatest privileges of my life. And I have no doubt it will have an impact on all who watch it.
This interview wasn’t easy for her physically, and yet I believe it’s that very weakness that powerfully displays the Spirit’s strength within her. I truly believe it will leave you changed.
Without further ado, here is our incredible conversation with Joni:

I'm a stay-at-home mom of four kids, sixteen and under, and have been continually learning in deeper ways what it means to follow Jesus Christ - no matter the cost. I'm the co-author of He Gives More Grace: 30 Reflections for the Ups and Downs of Motherhood (Dec 1, 2023), Hope When It Hurts: Biblical Reflections to Help Your Grasp God's Purpose in Your Suffering, Together Through the Storms: Biblical Encouragements For Your Marriage When Life Hurts, the author of an evangelistic resource, Tears and Tossings: Hope in the Waves of Life, and a forthcoming children's book, The Long Road Home: A Tale of Two Sons and a Father's Never-Ending Love (Crossway, 2024).
My husband and I have been given the unique calling of walking through long and layered trials within our family (special needs, Lyme Disease, job loss, financial loss, chronic pain, and more). However, as we seek Christ and learn to lean on him through every struggle, we are being strengthened, molded, and learning to be more satisfied in him alone. I am learning deep truth's of God's Word and hope to encourage and challenge others through what He has been teaching my family and me through this valley. May he alone be glorified in and through my words.
