Suffering with hope, Together Through the Storms

Our Story

It’s with great excitement (and slight trepidation) that Jeff and I are finally able share the book trailer for Together Through the Storms.

This story isn’t one that we would have ever written, but God is the author of our lives and he has shown us time and time again that his ways are always good and he is always faithful. Because of that, we have followed the Lord’s leading and stepped out in faith to share some of our story, but more importantly, to share the deep truths that Christ has taught us along the way – individually and in marriage.

Our prayer is that this book will help married couples navigate the storms of life together. This is not a “how to” guide on having the best marriage or a book about us, but, rather, a walk alongside you and your spouse, sharing the realities of suffering and the effects it can have on a marriage. It’s an encouragement to lift your eyes above your trials, off your spouse, and onto our all-sufficient Savior.

We are so grateful for all the support that we have already received, far beyond what we ever imagined or deserve, but we would also really appreciate your help in the upcoming weeks (80 days until launch!). If you see the need and this book excites you, or if you’d just like to help, a few practical ways would be –

*Pre-order here (amzn.to/2YSdstU) – pre-orders are incredibly helpful because it helps gets the book off the ground – especially on Amazon.

*Share the video (and any other promo materials or book links) on your page or with anyone you think would find it helpful.

*Spread the word in the next 80 days (and beyond!). The best way to help launch a book is to share organically with your own sphere of friends and family (if you feel led to).
To be honest, we don’t love this “promotional” phase. We’d like to just write the book, put it in your hands, and pray that God will encourage you through it. But word on the street is that if you don’t tell anyone about the existence of a book, no one will read it. Go figure. 🤷‍♀️

All that to say, thank you in advance for all of your love and support. We are honored and humbled. More than anything, our hope and prayer is that God will be glorified in our lives and through these pages. We are merely the broken vessels to shine the light of Christ.

For his glory,

Sarah and Jeff Walton

  1. I am excited for you both and look forward to reading this! My reach is rather small, but I will share as I am able. I remember well the promotional phase. It was not my favorite, either. Rest assured that God will guide. Sending prayers your way.
